This policy explains how Gymnara handles app data and device permissions in the Gymnara iOS app (the "App").

1. Information We Process

Gymnara processes the information you enter into the App, such as:

  • workout templates and exercises
  • workout logs (for example: sets, reps, weight, timestamps)
  • app preferences (for example: units and appearance)

2. Permissions

Gymnara is designed to work without requiring sensitive device permissions.

3. Local-First Handling

Gymnara is designed with local-first principles. Your app data is stored on your device to power features like history and analytics.

4. iCloud / CloudKit Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud, your App Data may be stored and synced through Apple iCloud/CloudKit. Apple processes this data as part of providing iCloud services.

Gymnara does not receive your Apple ID password.

5. Sharing

Gymnara does not sell your personal information.

We do not share your app data with third parties except:

  • Apple iCloud/CloudKit, if you enable iCloud sync
  • Legal/safety reasons, if required to comply with law or protect rights and safety

If you choose to share content (for example, a screenshot), it is shared using your device's standard sharing workflow.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete App Data by removing items within the App.

You can also delete the App to remove local data stored on-device. If you enabled iCloud, you may need to manage iCloud storage through Apple's settings to remove synced data.

7. Children's Privacy

Gymnara is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above.
